I am but a plaything for you to hold, grasped up by your tangled and thick roots of supposed wisdom. You were my beginning, and you brought on the beginning of my end. I gnawed at your roots until I thought I was free, but your fingers wrapped around this thorn pierced heart for far too long. Now I see the error of my ways, but it is far too late for salvation.
The brilliance you once shared with me is gone, quenched by your ignorance. My heart now lies barren, as a frozen tundra soaked in regret.
Yet, I will hide you away in my corridors forever, so nothing but myself can pull you away. Maybe one day you shall bring back all that you took away.
Maybe one day your light will shine again.
